M & H Fence Company – Carrollton, TX
M & H Fences replaced the fence around my next door neighbor’s backyard. Below are some photos of the finished job. Yes, this is finished. I’ve highlighted the property line in these photos with a red line. Notice the dirt, concrete, and debris on my property. I called Mark at M & H Fences and asked him to have his crew clean the mess that was located on my property. Mark told me it was his customer’s job to clean up that mess. I will be spreading the word about this example of the work by M & H Fence company.
Did you tell your neighbor to clean it?
Made several unsuccessful attempts to contact the neighbor. They were apparently preparing the property to move because they moved shortly after having this work done. From what I have read from other online reviews, M & H Fence Company customers have had similar unsatisfactory experiences.
M&H is a Prick…….. back when i was in highschool he would pay kids to steal yard equipment out of garages,also would stiff highschool kids out of there money. I owned my business since I was in highschool and never heard a good comment about him !!! DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH HIM !!!!!

Would not recommend this company to anyone. Mike will lie about everything. His warranty on the fence is not worth the paper it is written on. I just had a fence put up in April and have boards splitting and call him. He claims the heat did it. Well where is the warranty. The fence is not that old to have this. He also went back on the stain. We paid for 2 coats of stain and now he claims we have to pay again for the second coat. This guy is a con artist. Do not trust him for anything.
As a friend he did our fence. We bought enough stain to stain the entire fence. He was paid up front for the job. He brought less than confidant hands to do the job. The fence is unlevel, boards are not covered correctly. My husband had to go back and redo the back gate. Our large driveway gate was half way done and is sagging only 6 months after being hung. He was suppose to come back within 3 weeks to finish staining, 4 months later he is telling me he is done with us. Did a very poor ugly fence job, took about $500 more than should have been given to him. Will not answer his phone now. I will be turning him in to the Better Business Bureau and will do everything I can do to get the word out to NOT USE THIS MAN. He is a scam. You will not get a quality completed fence job. DO NOT USE M AND H Fence Company. Go with another company.
HELLO TO ALL: THESE PEOPLE MAY ARE MAY NOT HAVE THE FACTS CORRECT, HE DID MY FENCE 6 MONTHS AGO AND DID A GREAT JOB, IF YOU DRIVE DOWN ANY ALLEY , YOU WILL FIND HIS NAME ON MOST OF THE FENCES, THIS IS HOW I FOUND THEM, HE DID A GREAT JOB AND HIS WEB SITE PROVES IT. PEOPLE GET A LIFE,
He also does horrible jobs, and this website proves it.
I used to work with the guy and believe me that there are only two pictures on his site that are actually work he’s done..and it’s his own house. The other images are not his. I was on a job with him when we put up a fence for a flight attendant when the job was ‘complete’ she had questions about the gate not be square to the rest of the fence. Which it wasn’t and he refused to fix it. Also the top fence boards that are used sometimes for decoration was fine except he ran out of cedar boards the correct size and replace it with one 2 inches narrower. This board was placed on the street facing side of her fence. He told her he’d be back to replace it and I asked if he was going to as we piled into the truck and left and he laughed and said no. This is just one example…I have many others.
I worked with Mike haxton before he even started the company and he even offered to go in business with me doing landscaping along with fence repair and I had to decline. Mike has a different personality than most people but when you get down to it he’s a darn good guy hard-working and is a businessman.
