…And I’m Off the Organic Veggie Bandwagon

I’m done. The organic scene is not for me. I’ve gone about 30 years eating non-organic foods and I haven’t had a single problem. Recently, I saw that organic lettuce was only 20 cents more than regular so I decided to be socialably responsible and purchase my lettuce from a lettuce farm that treats lettuce with dignity without those nasty pesticides. I’m such a great person. Well- that little guy above almost made it into my turkey wrap today.
I never realized how much I missed that yummy pesticide flavor.

That’s disgusting. God created the chemists who created pesticides for a reason.

You and bugs with wings…..hum…..they must all be against you.

That’s true. The first one tried the ear and now this one was trying to sneak in through the mouth. I bet they’re going to try and take you down from the inside out.

pish posh - did you rinse your lettuce before you tried to eat it?? even lettuce with pesticides could have had that little guy on there. he probably came from the store.

First I have to make fun of Ashley for saying “pish posh”. Now that’s out of the way…I’m glad I’m not the only one who only buys the organic stuff that doesn’t cost much more. I chose bananas, until my eco-friendly mom friends told me that bananas are one of the only things that doesn’t matter because of the thick skin. Defeated at my first attempt, I also bailed from the bandwagon!
