You know what I get overly-excited about? The UPS truck. Many of you folks that leave home everyday may not know this joy because you’re gone during his visits. No, this is a joy experienced primarily by stay-at-home moms, folks that work at home, and the unemployed. There is just something about the sound of the noisy diesel, the squeaky brakes, and the fact that some cool product is being delivered to me. A product that is so wonderful, you couldn’t buy it locally (for a reasonable price) no, you had to venture online. So to my freindly local UPS driver, I say, God speed Santa Claus of the day… God speed.

Notice anything different about me. Yep, I’m typing on my new laptop. Oh what an exciting day for me! I am watching Emeril Live and typing on the laptop, I feel like the comic book guy on The Simpsons. I think I will watch The Simpsons next. I would like to take this time to tell you about our DVR. We have ReplayTV, which in my opinion is far superior to Tivo. If you don’t have a DVR, get one. There is something about skipping commercials that represents everything I stand for. That is all. Well here we are, 26 days into 2006 and I am just now writing my first post for the year. I guess I’ve just been busy. I know I use that excuse all the time, but this time I mean it. Look, you don’t understand- I’m married now, I have lots of responsibilities. It’s hard for me to find time to write now. It’s not that I don’t love you, I just need time to readjust. bla bla bla… I obviously have nothing important to say. Sorry for wasting your time. My next post will contain some sort of meaningful content.

This is my first official post as a husband. Pretty nice, huh? Married life is great so far, the trick of it is to marry the right person. Anyway- the reason I’ve called you here today is to talk about Christmas shopping. As of this posting, you have 39 shopping days left. That gives you plenty of time to email me and ask me what I want.

Holy smokes, it’s been almost two months since my last posting. Sorry about that. So much has changed. Let’s see, where do I begin? Well, I turned 28 last month, that’s pretty old. I’ve moved into a new apartment, and after Keely and I say our “I do’s” then it will be her place too. The wedding is quickly approaching. People ask me a lot if I am nervous. My nerv-o-meter is currently reading .02 nervio units (which is very low considering my upbringing). I look forward to the whole wedding thing. It should be fun.

I am most productive when I am listening to Digitally Imported - Chillout music on Winamp radio. Something about it keeps me on task. Dale, my brother-in-law, says it stimulates the beta waves in your brain… or some thing like that. I say it puts me in a trance-o-concentration, scientifically speaking. The bands.. (not quite sure if they’re called bands, really) always have the coolest names like: Suspended Between Eternities or something like that. Anyway- I just turned it on so [start robot voice] must - get - back - to - work. [end robot voice]

Hello friends. Just dropped in to give you a summertime update. I am going to Door County tomorrow. I’ll be back soon. The wedding date is set for October 14th.

Dun, Dunt, Da Na… In case you couldn’t tell, that is the wedding song. And why such a song? Well friends, I am engaged. Tonight, I asked Keely to marry me and she said she would think about it. Just kidding, of course she said yes. It was a perfect night. I got down on one knee and asked her to get out of my dreams and into my car… metaphorically speaking. The picture to the left is the actual ring. It is a solitaire princess cut diamond. I also got some new close-up lenses for my digital camera which I used to take the photo of the ring- but that’s really not the point of this post. The point is that Keely and I are getting married… to each other. Stay tuned to Josh’s World for more wedding details like: When is the wedding? Who will be your best man? Some sad news in Josh’s World, my beloved dog Max is in doggy heaven. He died on March 17, 2005 (the same day of my last post). Max lived for 17 years which is 63% of my lifetime. It was a sad event, but Max had a good run.

Josh Kryzak reporting live from Plainfield, Illinois today. I am currently on assignment doing some property management duties and youth safeguard activities (baby-sitting). About a week ago I heard the Stevie Wonder song I Just Called to Say I Love You for the millionth time in my life. Everybody knows it, it’s a good 80’s song. Well for the first time in my life, I realized the lyrics of song are in order with the months of the year. I’ve never paid attention to that fact before. That blows my mind that I could miss something like that.
